Flower Vase Sympathy Card

Hi all. I made this sympathy card for a good friend of mine who lost her sister recently. My friends favorite color is purple and that was the inspiration for the colors I chose. I really like the satin and glossy papers on the front of the card. I used the loop frame design on the front and on the inside. That's one of my favorite cuts on this cartridge. The stickles added to the flowers made them really stand out. Hopefully it brighted her day just a little bit.

Baby Shower Card

Hi everyone. I made this little duck card for a baby shower. She's having a little girl. The cut is from Best Images of 2006 and I welded it together on my gypsy. It looked kind of plain so I added some blingy flowers and I think it turned out pretty cute. I also embroidered some baby bibs as her gift that I will post soon.

It's Yarr Birthday!!

Hey everybody! Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made. It's for my nephew and I thought the pirate theme would be good. I used the Imagine to make this card. My machine is still not working properly though. It will sometimes cut the images out and other times it won't. It also is still randomly rebooting. Provocraft is replacing it for me (yay!). I am very happy about that because I love, love, LOVE the Imagine. I got the Buccaneer cartridge over the holidays and was anxious to use it and that's what inspired this card. I also printed the paper for the envelope using that cartridge. I really like how it turned out.

Challenges:

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #38 - Create a new birthday card.

Cooking with Cricut #67 - Use something new (Buccaneer cartridge).

Fantabulous Cricut #93 - Create a masculine project.

Christmas Treat Bags

Hi all. Today I'm sharing the treat bags I made for my grandsons preschool class and treat bags for his teacher and her aids.

I used my new Imagine that I got for black Friday at Wal-mart ($187). It is not functioning properly though. I called Provocraft and they had me update it, but still it isn't right. It will randomly just reboot itself. Plus the ink smears when it gets to the bottom of the mat. Very frustrating. I may be returning it to Wal-mart if Provocraft can't help me. :-( Anyway, I was able to print and cut some images and I like how they turned out so I am hoping they help me.
