Guest Designer at Die Cuttin' Divas and Blog Candy!

Giveaway on this post: Teddy Bear Parade Cartridge!

Hello everyone!! Today, I am happy to say that I am a Guest Designer over at Die Cuttin' Divas. Thank you, Georgiana, for letting me guest design! This week the challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas is "Challenge #113 ~ Anything Goes". My niece’s birthday was last week so I chose to use her birthday card for my guest designer day. I used one of my favorite cartridges—Teddy Bear Parade (blog candy alert!). The teddy bear was cut using that cartridge. The card base, window and window frame were cut from Lacy Labels using my Gypsy. I added invisible thread to the teddy bear inside the window so she would spin around like she is dancing. Here is my project, I hope you like it.

I am also entering this into the following challenges:

My favorite memory of Elvis, is the younger version where he is on stage in that black leather outfit (♥), where my sister's is of the slightly older Elvis in white polyester. I found this cute Elvis bear (The King) at Paper Piecings by Nikki.com and thought it would be a perfect birthday card for her. Love it! I am going to enter it in the following challenges:

Homemade Smash Book

Hello everyone! I made my first homemade smash book for my grandson last week. I am very happy with how it turned out and so was he. He said "Nana, wow you made this?!" and immediately started writing in it. Made me feel good :-) I already have 2 requests for smash books. I had alot of fun making this and I do see alot more of this type project in my future! LOL

I watched the video tutorials called Homemade Smash Book Series by Babytweetums on youtube. I love her tutorials, she is very detailed and explains everything perfectly. I pretty much followed exactly what she did in her tutorial. In the first video she gives a list of all the supplies you will need and links to printable pages. Here is her blog Schells Craft Corner. So Schell, if you ever read this, thanks so much for the videos!!
