A Birthday Pocket Letter

Hello everyone! I have jumped on the Pocket Letter bandwagon. I think they are really cool, so I made one for my niece, Brooke, for her birthday. It took me awhile to make it and come up with some ideas, but in the end, I think it turned out super cute. In the pockets I've added:
  • Washi tape and stickers;
  • Ghirardelli chocolates;
  • Decals for her nails;
  • Shaker pendant necklace with her initial inside;
  • Zinnia seeds for her to plant;
  • Ribbon;
  • Die cutouts to make some bows like the one above the birthday bear die cut;
  • Die cut lacy oval to use on a project; and
  • More Ghirardelli chocolate (can't have too many of those!).
I had a lot of fun making this and will make more for other occasions. You should give them a try! I hope you enjoy my project.

Hello everyone! Welcome back for the 3-D Challenge #7 at Cardz TV! This week’s challenge is to create a 3-D project using flowers. This is a perfect time for this challenge because all the spring time flowers are now in bloom. I used the Cardz TV stamp set "Think Spring". To purchase this stamp set, plus many others, click here. For my project I stamped the sentiment "Flower Power". I created a note pad cover for a junior legal pad with matching pen and added a little pocket inside. I heat embossed the sentiment onto an oval die cut on my Cricut Explore and backed it with a lacy oval die from Spellbinder. I love the colors in the patterned paper, they are so bright and cheery.

Angel Kisses

Hello everyone. I want to share a card that I made using the new stamp set from Cardz TV "Heavenly". I love angels so this stamp set is perfect. I can see me using this for many projects. I heat embossed the two sentiments "Angel Kisses" and "Heaven knows I love you!" with gold embossing powder. Super cute. I added some Skittles from DoubleClick - AKA Abusybee in the corners. I also added sheer ribbon on top of the background paper from a 6x6 My Mind's Eye "Indie Chic" stack that I received from my secret Santa--Creations by Rachelle (thanks!). The angel herself is Peachy Keen Stamp of the Month from January 2012 that I colored in with colored pencils and added glitter and glossy accents and added her to a Spellbinder die.

For my project, I used the Cardz TV stamp set "Happy Days". To purchase this stamp set, plus many others, click here. I stamped the "Happy St. Patrick's Day" sentiment using gold embossing powder. It looks so pretty and matches the gold coins. The pot and leprechaun both came from the Cricut cartridge Simply Charmed. I used the print and cut feature on my Cricut Explore to cut the leprechaun and put him on an action wobble. I cut two of the black pot images out of black glitter cardstock and made an insert for the coins to sit in and cut a long strip of card stock for the handle. Super cute.
